About the Tour
On this 6-day, 5-night tour you will be treated to some of the best scenery Texas has to offer. If you would like to spend a couple of days before or after the tour in downtown San Antonio, let us know and we will make necessary accommodations for you.
Shuttles will leave every morning around 8:00 a.m. for the cycling group, and around 10:00 a.m. for those taking the excursions. Please click on the links section for more information about each destination.
The entire group will meet for lunch every day at restaurants specifically selected for their unique and outstanding fare.
After lunch we will shuttle back to the resort. Each evening the chef will prepare a gourmet meal with unique fare.

Non-Rider’s Tour Agenda
Day One Arrive in San Antonio. We will have two shuttles from the San Antonio Airport. The first shuttle will depart at 12:00 noon and the second shuttle will leave at 4:00 p.m. Taxi service is available for $75.00.
Once you have checked in at the resort, you can lounge by the pool, relax by the lake, go fishing, or take a boat ride.
We will have a welcoming cocktail reception beginning at 6:30 p.m, followed by a 5 course dinner starting at 7:00p.m.
Day Two Continental breakfast will be served until 9:30 a.m. The shuttle will depart at 10:00 a.m. for the town of Gruene. Gruene has many eclectic and antique shops, or if you prefer you can take a kayak down the Guadalupe river. For the golfer, you will leave with the riders and will play the Bandit Golf Course.
At 1:00 p.m. we will meet up with the riders for lunch.
Day Three Continental breakfast will be served until 8:30 a.m. The shuttle will depart at 9:00 a.m for the town of Fredericksberg. With over 150 shops, galleries, boutiques, and emporiums, you’re sure to find something that you can’t live without. For the WWII buff there is the Nimitz Museum. At 12:30 p.m. we will shuttle over to Becker Vineyards to meet up with the riders.
Day Four Continental breakfast will be served until 9:30a.m. The shuttle will depart the lodge at 10:00 a.m. for a 45 minute drive through farmland and quaint little towns. Once in Gonzales we will take a driving tour of the more than 50 historic homes, and take a tour of one of the majestic homes. At 1:00 p.m. we will meet up with the riders at a famous Gonzales BBQ restaurant. We will depart at 2:30 p.m. to head back to the Lodge.
Day Five Continental breakfast will be served until 9:00 a.m., and the shuttle will depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 45 minute ride to San Antonio.
Our first stop will be a tour of the Alamo. From there we will tour the 4 missions located on the mission trail. We may even run into the riders at one of the missions.
At 1:00 p.m. we will meet our cycling partners at a well known Mexican food restaurant known for their famous San Antonio Tex Mex food. Locals crowd this little hangout on a daily basis, in part for the sensational soups and otherwise for the welcoming spirit of the dining room and the outdoor patio. Puffy tacos are special, with the addition of shredded cabbage, and the chorizo quesadillas are unforgettable. We will depart San Antonio at 2:30 p.m to go back to the Lodge.
Enjoy the last afternoon lounging by the pool, water skiing, boating, or whatever you're in the mood for. Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m.
Day Six We will have two shuttles to the San Antonio Airport. The first shuttle will depart at 7:00 a.m. and the second shuttle will leave at 11:00 a.m. Taxi service is available for $75.00.
